Renting Questions
How Does The Rental Work?
The renter will pick up the supplies they need a day or two before the event. The items are to be returned no later than the following Tuesday after the event unless other arrangements have been discussed. There will be extra charges for supplies that are returned after the following Tuesday. The late fee is $25 a day or 10% of the rental cost, whatever is the greater of the two.
How do I reserve supplies for my event?
Once we have gone over the rental form and decided on what you will need for your event, then the reservation will be made. You must return the contract filled out by email, mail or in person. At that time a deposit of $50 and 50% of your rental total is required to hold your date. You must also have a valid credit card to be put on file.. The remaining 50% is not due until 10 days before your event. Final head count and supplies needed are due 10 days before your event.
The Right wedding reception glasses and dinnerware Make a big difference!
You will want to have a water glass or goblet plus a champagne glass next to each place setting. If you are having a bar, then the additional glasses will be given by them. If there is wine and beer, then they can be served in the appropriate glassware.
There’s nothing more frustrating than realizing that you haven’t planned for enough people. And when it comes to dinner ware and glassware, you need to rent more than you think that you do. You’ve certainly been at a party and set your glass down, lost it, and then grabbed a new one to replace it. This is the same situation, only there are a lot more people.
When you’re planning your own wedding and renting the dishes and flat ware, you want to plan for at least fifty more people than are coming. This gives you enough leeway should glasses get misplaced or lost.
Flat ware should also be ordered in bulk as it can easily drop on to the floor.
Can I adjust how much I will need after I have reserved my date?
Yes!
You can adjust your numbers all the way up to 10 days before your event.
A $10 fee will be added for changes made after the 10 day grace period.
Note: I have had several rentals in a busy weekend; unfortunately some supplies will not be available, if you require more. It is advised to order a little higher then you may need and when the time gets closer, we can make your adjustments at that time.
How can I pay for my supplies?
You can pay with check, cash or credit cards payable through PayPal payment system.
Do I need to clean everything before returning?
No!
I will do the cleaning of all supplies.
It is required that all foods be rinsed from the dinnerware and shaken out of linens to prevent molding and staining.
What if a glass gets broken at my event?
If a glass or some silverware go missing, don’t worry, it happens!
I have attach a Replacement Cost Form with each contract for renters to look over and sign. The missing items will be deducted from your deposit. The remaining balance of your deposit will be returned to you no later than two weeks after supplies have been returned.
Would I consider a trade for part of the rental cost?
Yes!
In most cases brides spend a lot of money on other things they want for their dream day, like the perfect center piece vase or linens. Afterwards, they have no use for it.
I started this business to give people the chance to have a dream wedding without having to spend what they should have, on a down payment on a new home. I enjoy helping people have their dream wedding and save as much money as they can doing it. So if you have something that you would like to trade for part of your rental, just let me know and we can work something out. Not only will it be helping you, but you will be helping me expand my business, and help me to help others have the dream wedding they always wanted.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask!
I look forward to working with you!
